Growing up in a remote village in Kazakhstan, well away from the technological pace of the 1970s and ’80s, I formed a strong connection with nature from an early age. Surrounded by mountains and vast степpe landscapes, some of my earliest memories are of the gentle sound of a stream and the small yellow flowers lining its banks. I spent hours climbing trees and finding quiet moments beneath the large leaves in my grandmother’s garden, completely immersed in the natural world around me.
After spending my younger years in Germany, where I came to appreciate its rich forests, open meadows and rolling green hills, I later moved to England. I graduated with merit from the renowned Inchbald School of Design, where I developed and refined my skills as a landscape and garden designer.
